Introduction: Class III skeletal malocclusion in adult patients presents mainly two treatment options: the surgical-orthodontic approach or compensatory treatment. Case Report: In present report, it was described case of a 23-year-old male patient who presented associated with anterior open bite. The refused treatment. Thus, orthodontic performed biofunctional technique, consisting preadjusted brackets accentuated palatal torque on maxillary incisors and buccal mandibular incisors. This prescription aims to minimize effects intermaxillary elastics, promoting more bodily movement than tipping segments improve bone remodeling. bite treated lingual spurs, differentiated bonding accessories early elastics. After 23 months treatment, functional occlusion observed bilateral I canine molar relationships, overbite correction, satisfactory smile esthetics. Conclusion: great outcomes indicate that is possible discrepancies, correct diagnosis considering compliance. technique provided favorable dental positioning for correction.
